Certified Izocam Tekiz Panels Provide Fire Safety

Conducting studies on fire safety and improving its products against possible
fires, Izocam received certificate of “EI60 and E120 Fire Resistance” with Tekiz
stonewool panel.
 
Emphasizing the importance of fire insulation and leading the industry with its
experiences on stonewool panel implementations, Izocam was awarded with Fire
Resistance certificate with Tekiz stonewool panel. As a result of the tests conducted by
ERA Management, Test and Certification Services, Izocam Tekiz Stonewool Insulated
Panel obtained 60-minutes fire resistant certificate for the criteria of integrity and
insulation (EI60), and fire resistant panel certificate for the integrity criteria (E120). 
 
Continuing its supports to construct buildings in compliance with Regulation on
Protecting the Buildings from Fire in our country, whenever possible Izocam mentions
about the performance of insulation by choosing the correct materials and its
implementation as required. Izocam also emphasizes the requirement of using materials
suitable for each other in order to minimize the losses by providing security of life and
property. Glasswool and Stonewool come to the forefront as the best products for fire
insulation.  Izocam provides high fire insulation with the mineral wool panels it
manufactures in Tekiz Plants. Being produced in compliance with the criteria of Turkish
Standards Institution (TSI), the panels can be easily implemented on the roof and
façades of the buildings thanks to the nonstop manufacture. On the panels, a composite
fire resistant system is obtained with the mineral wool layer, from "A1" fire retardant
class, used as metal external skin and insulation filling.   
 
The mineral wool filling in the panels not containing environmentally hazardous
substance provides effective solutions for high fire resistance, sound and thermal
insulation.  The mineral wool insulated roof and façade panels are manufactured as both
faces are covered with sheet metal.
